CAMBRIDGE BAY, Nunavut – Polar bear hunting could resume early next year in the Kitikmeot community of Gjoa Haven. The community has been without a designated quota for two years because of a ban on hunting bears in the M'Clintock Channel. The ban was put in place because of concerns about the declining bear population in the region.
