CAMBRIDGE BAY, Nunavut – The Nunavut government is taking steps to reduce the number of bears shot as 'nuisances' around the territory's communities. It's testing a new community bear management plan in Kugluktuk, where half a dozen bears were shot this year for creating problems for humans.
