MONTREAL – Canadian utility Hydro-Quebec said it selected one of its units as well as the Groupe Axor Inc. and Calpine Canada Power Corp. partnership to supply 1,200 megawatts of electricity for C$6 billion ($3.8 billion) starting in March 2007 to meet the province's growing needs.
