I was eating dinner Tuesday evening when I got a call from John Buchanan from Squamish. He sent me an email about his photo documentary of his visit to the spill site as well as his letter to the Minister below….

You are probably aware of the Westwood Anette Spill here in Squamish last year and on Tues there will be a public infomation meeting at the Totem hall. Thought I would share with you my visit to the site today to give you a proper perspective on things. I have tried to give you a boots on the ground honest look at things.

We are trying to launch a community development biofuel initiative and could use your help. We need enough ‘votes’ to show that people support our project ‘in principle’. Then this website will help us raise funds to buy the seeds and hardware for the actual project.
Our starting goal is $50k, which will be used exclusively for hardware, seeds and shipping. We are looking to government and other sources for wider project support.
