Capital for Cause: Back to Basics is a must attend event for all impact investors and social entrepreneurs looking to unleash capital for greater social impact as well as financial returns. It will be an engaging and interactive day of discussion and idea generation focusing on the topics of affordable housing and food security.

This all day multi-layered event is begins with a keynote presentation by Jason Switzer from Alberta Clean Technology Industry Association. Our first panel discussion on food security will include:
• Michael Ableman, co-founder of Sole Food Street Farms
• Meghan Dear, founder of Localize
• Darren MacLean, chef and owner of Shokunin

Our second panel discussion will be focused on affordable housing and includes:
• Season and Jason Mosby from Clear Builders and Pure Property Management
• Twyla Hayes, founder of Lifehouse
• Third panelist to be confirmed

Attendees will have the opportunity to dive deeply into the topics introduced in the panels through working groups, networking and idea development.
