Salmon-Safe works with farmers to encourage agricultural practices that protect wild Pacific salmon habitat and water quality.

Highly effective in Oregon and Washington for more than a decade, Salmon-Safe was brought to British Columbia by the Pacific Salmon Foundation and the Fraser Basin Council in 2010.

To date, 40 farms and vineyards across B.C. have achieved Salmon-Safe certification.
