PNWIS 2011 Technical Committee – Interested in building your professional network? Want to meet other environmental professionals from all over the Pacific Northwest? Why not make a presentation about your work during a popular local conference?
The deadline for the Air & Waste Management Association’s Pacific Northwest International Section (PNWIS) 2011 Annual Conference is fast approaching. There are only 10 DAYS LEFT to submit your abstract for PNWIS 2011.
The PNWIS conference is famous for its networking opportunities, as well as formal training courses such as the professional development course being offered this year:
“Project Management Essentials for Environmental Management Professionals” instructed by David Elam, Principal at Summa Consultants in Chapel Hill, North Carolina
This year’s conference keynote address:
“The North American Emission Control Area” will be delivered by Andrew Green, Director of Air Quality Programs for Puget Sound Clean Air Agency
Check out the rest of the technical program in the provisional schedule at www.pnwis.org/Ch_vi/PNWIS_2011/technical_program.html. To be part of the program all you need to do is submit an abstract and prepare a presentation – no formal paper is required. Abstracts should include the name, address, e-mail, and phone number for the primary author and be no longer than 400 words. You can submit your abstract for the attention of the technical committee to glipnickey@trcsolutions.com until September 1st.
All speakers must register for the conference, so at a minimum speakers must pay for a 1-day registration. However, we hope that you will plan to attend the full 3-days to benefit from this networking opportunity, as well as the rest of the conference.
