Kids’ World of Energy Festival: Call for volunteers

The Kids’ World of Energy Festival brings together over 4000 students, youth, volunteers and families to engage with hands-on learning about renewable energy. Taking place at the Evergreen Brick Works, this festival will feature 3 curriculum-linked days designed specially for grade 5 and 6 classes, and two public days open to the community.

From May 18-20, over 700 grade 5 and 6 students will come together to take part in hands-on workshops and activities delivered by TREC Education, Evergreen and many other local organizations. Two “Community Days” will be held May 21-22 featuring renewable energy demonstrations and workshops open to the public.

Festival organizers are currently looking for volunteers to help facilitate workshops, lead activities and help with the event.
