June 5, 2009 – The RCA, in partnership with Alberta Environment, has launched Alberta’s Recycling Hotline website at www.recyclinghotline.ca. This website will allow users to access online information regarding recycling locations, as a user-friendly option to the toll-free recycling hotline phone service. The information includes recycling opportunities for a wide range of materials across the province.
It is expected that the website will serve an increased number of people who prefer to find their information online, or may not find it convenient to phone the hotline. The public still also has the option to call the toll-free Recycling Hotline at 1-800-463-6326 to speak directly with an operator regarding their recycling questions.
