Burlington Mall pours on gifts and prizes at Water ecoHero Event, April 18

Burlington ON – Did you know that if each person in a family of four saves just two litres of water a day this amounts to almost 3,000 litres of water saved during the course of a single year?

Each individual’s contribution to water conservation can make a world of difference for generations to come, according to Burlington Mall which is partnering with Canadian Tire^* to shower consumers with hundreds of free prizes, gift with purchase opportunities, and a chance to win a package of water conservation products valued at $2000 on Saturday, April 18, at its Water ecoHero event.

Four water conservation-inspired prize packages, each valued at $2000, are on display now at the Mall’s Centre Court, by Zellers. These feature the latest and greatest in water conservation technology including low flow toilets, faucets and shower heads, rain barrels, mulch, eco friendly cleaning products, drought tolerant grass seed, and much, much more. The grand prize winner will get to choose the Water ecoHero package that most appeals to them and fits their water conservation needs.

There are three different ways to enter Burlington Mall’s Water ecoHero contest. You can go online and take the ecoHero Pledge at www.bmecohero.com, drop by Guest Services in the Mall, or participate in the Water ecoHero event outside Burlington Mall’s Canadian Tire* store on Saturday, April 18 at 9 am.

By going online and taking the Mall’s ‘ecoHero Pledge’, to change ‘one simple thing’ about the way you live, you will automatically be entered into the Water ecoHero contest and receive a bonus ballot that can be deposited in the contest drum in the mall. Go to www.burlingtonmall.com and click on ‘ecoHero Pledge Today’.

In the Mall you can pick up a contest ballot at Guest Services, as well as view the various products included in each of the four $2000 prize packages, one of which will be awarded to the Water ecoHero contest winner.

At the Water ecoHero event outside of Burlington Mall’s Canadian Tire* Store on Saturday, April 18, 9 am to 1 pm, the first 100 people will receive a free low flow showerhead and a ballot for the Water ecoHero contest. All purchasers of water conservation products on sale that day, some including a free gift with purchase, will receive a contest ballot.
