Comment on Ontario’s proposed Green Energy Act

There is still time to voice your opinion on Ontario’s Green Energy and Green Economy Act, which was recently tabled at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

The proposal has also been posted for a 30 day public review and comment period, starting on February 24, 2009. Visit the Ontario Environmental Registry and submit your comments for this important legislation. 

The deadline for submissions to the Ontario Environmental Registry is March 26, 2009.

The proposed Green Energy Act is a bold series of coordinated actions to enhance
economic activity and reduce our impact on the climate with two equally important thrusts:

  1. making it easier to bring renewable energy projects to life, and
