Fiscal Stimulus: Make it Green!

January 16, 2009 – There is no doubt we are at a major crossroads
with respect to achieving a sustainable society. Politicians everywhere
are looking to stimulate sagging economies, just as a true green
economic revolution is on the cusp of producing full-scale paradigm
shift. 

We all have a chance to make it known we favour a greener future.

Dear friends,

We are facing the challenge of our lifetime –
finding ways to build an economy that will stop destroying our planet.
We can do it. Let’s start now.

On January 27, our federal
government will introduce a new budget and invest billions of your tax
dollars on stimulating the Canadian economy.

Let’s make sure that as much of the stimulus package as possible is green.
