Health Canada: Human Health in a Changing Climate

Health Canada’s report, ‘Human Health in a Changing Climate’, warns about the health effects of climate change in Canada and stresses the importance of developing a climate change strategy. Can’t find it on the government’s website? Released quietly on July 31st, the Conservative government decided not to post it.
Apparently, the report is “available upon request”. Some bloggers have jumped on it to make it freely available to all Canadians.
Miguel Tremblay, a physicist with Environment Canada, has made a French version available on his blog, Ptaff.ca Tremblay commented, “this report tackles a wide range of issues, so I want to make it available to as many people as possible,” according to the Vancouver Sun.
An English-language version of the report can be found on Milan Ilnyckyj’s blog, Sindark.com, at: http://www.sindark.com/2008/08/03/human-health-in-a-changing-climate/
Marianne White of the Vancouver Sun uncovered this piece of news. Read her article, ‘Bloggers Post Health Canada Climate Change Report on the Web‘ at: http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/story.html?id=44a7a661-a092-4571-b3a3-706938059987
