The Eastern Shore Forest Watch is a group of concerned citizens who support a vision of sustainable forest practices that bears in mind that humans are but one of hundreds of species in any region, each of which is important in its own right as an integral part of the ecological web.
The ESFWA is nonprofit group dedicated to the long term care of our forests. The group was established in May 1998 by a group of citizens who were concerned about current tree harvesting practices. Members include woodlot owners, residents, foresters, tourism/business operators – people who are genuinely concerned about the health and future of our forests.
