Steer Clean offers information and rewards to car owners willing to recycle their older, high-polluting vehicles. By working together to reduce harmful emissions we can improve air quality for all Nova Scotians. Steer Clean is a program of the Ecology Action Centre, Nova Scotia’s largest and most active environmental organization.
The goal of the Steer Clean Program is to remove some of the older – 1995-and-older – vehicles from Nova Scotia’s roads as they produce significantly higher health-impacting emissions than newer cars.
