In some respects, Al Gore has had a banner year: Two Oscars, half a Nobel Peace Prize, and whole lot of lectures that have proved enormously successful at courting public opinion.
But when it comes to courts’ opinions, the former U.S. vice-president has been no more successful than he was he was when he lost Bush vs. Gore, and along with it, the presidency.
