VICTORIA – For almost 15 years, podiatrist Marshall Baer has been commuting by bike to his downtown Victoria office. Two years ago, Baer, who is “pushing 50” and has “exertion asthma,” decided he needed a bit of help on the 30-kilometre round-trip commute, without resorting to his car.
It looks like a regular bike, but has a battery at the front and motor in the rear hub
