Students in Environment and Resource Studies won two of the 20 Energy Ambassador Awards for 2006, sponsored by Natural Resources Canada.
Crystal Bradford’s submission centred on an energy efficiency teaching module for elementary students that she developed and used with a class at Centennial Public School in Waterloo. Robin Sano, who also won the national award in 2004, did an “Analysis of Automotive Energy Efficient Technology with a National and Community Based Focus” this year. Crystal and Robin each received $1,000 and a trip to the Globe 2006 international conference on business and the environment in Vancouver. Congratulations!
