The Yukon Conservation Society (YCS) educates, advocates and conducts research on Yukon environmental issues, and has been doing so since 1968.
The group’s mandate:
…to pursue ecosystem well-being throughout the Yukon and beyond, recognizing that human well-being is ultimately dependent upon fully functioning healthy ecosystems. Over the years, YCS has earned a respected position of influence on environmental policy and education in the North.

YCS often submits comments to a variety of governments and agencies on a diverse number of subjects. When possible, these comments will be posted on their web page. YCS encourages its members to send in comments on issues that interest them.
