Edmonton… The Canadian National Railway Company (CN) faces an environmental charge stemming from the train derailment and spill at Wabamun Lake on August 3, 2005. A total of 43 CN railcars went off the tracks beside Lake Wabamun during the derailment, spilling thousands of litres of Bunker C oil and pole treating oil into the lake.
