Sharing Land Use Knowledge at Gjoa Haven and Cambridge Bay Mapping Workshops

The residents contributed information about archaeological sites, burial sites and graves, cabins, and soapstone quarry sites. Caribou calving areas, migration routes and water crossings were also identified. So were muskox hunting areas, and polar bear and wolf denning sites.
