Ocean Net is a part of Memorial University, and here’s a little background about what they do:

Ocean Net Inc. is a grassroots non-government organization dedicated to mobilizing communities to take action on behalf of the coastal marine environment.

Ocean Net recognizes the potential for change that rests in the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. For that reason we have developed, branded, and continue to provide a variety of ‘Education by Action’ environmental stewardship programs to NL communities.
