A group of students at the University of Northern British Columbia is
organizing the University’s first-ever Green Day, which will be held on
Thursday, March 20.
In advance of the event, students have been conducting a
UNBC waste audit, analyzing the contents of garbage collected from
throughout the campus over last week. The garbage was sorted
and weighed on Saturday, March 15, at the I.K.
Barber Enhanced Forestry Lab on campus. The results of the audit will
be presented during Green Day.
