Curling club keeps cool with new geothermal heating system

A curling club in southwestern Manitoba has found a way to make ice with heat: just drill several dozen holes toward the centre of the earth.
The Glenboro Curling Club recently finished installing a geothermal heating system, which will not only keep its dressing rooms warm, but also keep the ice cold.
