WHAT: In honour of Environment Week, Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), Encana and the Piper family will unveil the newly-completed Piper Pond restoration
project, a wetland gift to the environment. Unveiling of Piper Pond will include a tour of the wetland followed by a BBQ.
WHY: With a 30-year conservation agreement between DUC and the Piper family of Dawson Creek and Encana¹s contribution, DUC has restored this critical
wetland for the benefit of waterfowl, wildlife and people.
