Vuntut National Park of Canada

Vuntut National Park was established in 1995 after extensive negotiations through the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation’s Final Land Claims Agreement between the Vuntut Gwitchin of Old Crow and the Government of Canada and the Yukon.

Gwitchin once more into the breach for ANWR

Gwitchin leaders from the Yukon are packing their bags for yet another trip to Washington to fight against proposals to drill for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
