FEASt: Food Education Action St.John is a working collective of individuals and organizations taking action on local, sustainable food issues.
Formed in Fall 2007, FEASt is a volunteer-run initiative affiliated to the provincial Food Security Network with almost 300 listserv members currently.
FEASt’s mission is to cultivate community and harvest health and joy by getting to the root of food systems.
They work on linking different food-related projects going on in the region, educating the public, and advocating or acting on issues as needed, especially where there are gaps that need to be filled.
