Marine ecosystem around Prince Rupert at risk

A study conducted by professor Frederick Short of the University of New Hampshire is showing that global seagrass beds are declining rapidly. These submerged saltwater flowering plants provide important fisheries habitat, and contribute to the marine ecosystem food chain.
