Recycle Your Renovations with Habitat for Humanity Brampton ReStore

Habitat ReStores
are retail outlets where quality used and surplus building materials
are sold at a fraction of normal prices. Proceeds from ReStores help
local affiliates fund the construction of Habitat houses within the
community.

Materials sold by Habitat ReStores are usually donated from building
supply stores, contractors, demolition crews, and from individuals who
wish to show their support for Habitat. In addition to raising funds,
ReStores help the environment by rechanneling good, usable materials
into use.

“Brampton ReStore diverted approximately 500 tonnes of ‘waste’ from
local landfills in 2006.” said Store Manager Daryl Morrison.  ” Where
else can you go shopping and help create a direct environmental &
social benefit for your community?”  According to Morrison, “100% of
the donations we receive go towards the home building program.”

If your household / company has materials to donate to a Habitat ReStore, please contact your local Restore
