Environment Canada probing sulphur gas release near Montreal

MONTREAL – Environment Canada said Wednesday it wants to know why the proper officials weren't notified about a release of sulphur gas from a Quebec plant that drifted eastward for 50 kilometres over Montreal's West Island and downtown area.
