New Accord to Strengthen Management of Canada’s Forests

Canada has taken another step forward in sustainable forest management with the signing of the third Canada Forest Accord. The Accord, recently signed by the Honourable R. John Efford, Minister of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), is a formal commitment supported by Canadian forest ministers, heads of industry and other non-governmental organizations to work together toward the long-term health of Canada's forests.
