Top court to rule on value of Canada’s natural resources

The full economic value of natural resources, particularly the non-market value of trees, has not been adequately recognized by Canadian courts when damages are awarded for destroyed forests, lawyers for two environmental groups will argue before the Supreme Court of Canada today.
