Rideau Waterway Land Trust

The Rideau Waterway Land Trust was incorporated in the spring of 1996 with a mandate to conserve and preserve lands of natural, aesthetic or historic values in the Rideau Corridor. A volunteer Board of Directors which is truly representative of the landowners and users of the Rideau Corridor lead this nonprofit registered charity. Individuals who get involved with the Rideau Waterway Land Trust share an abiding interest in the preservation of the landscapes of the Corridor. They come from a variety of backgrounds, land-use planning, ecology, education, law, finance, fundraising and management. This partnership of skills among our volunteers ensures the success of the Trust.
