Sailors: clean off weeds to avoid spreading zebra mussels

Zebra mussels have rapidly colonized the Great Lakes, clogging pipes and
damaging ecosystems as they spread. It was thought the mussels were
hitching a ride on boats, but a new study casts doubt on the theory.
