Government of Canada Commits to Greenhouse Gas Reductions

The Government of Canada is sending a strong signal about the importance of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Ralph Goodale, Minister of Natural Resources Canada, and David Anderson, Minister of the Environment, today announced that the Government is putting its own House in Order by reducing its emissions, setting a target of 31 percent below 1990 levels by 2010.
