Teck-Cominco probes contamination at Trail plant

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Teck-Cominco Ltd. is trying to determine how 65 workers at its Trail, British Columbia, lead smelter were contaminated with thallium, a toxic metal linked to nerve damage, the company said this week.
