World Wildlife Fund and Tembec Inc. Reach Historic Accord to Promote Long-term Sustainability of Canadian Forestry

(Montreal: January 25, 2001) – The future prospects for vast tracts of
Canada's forests brightened today following an announcement that Tembec
Inc., one of the country's largest producers of forest products, has agreed to
work with World Wildlife Fund Canada (WWF) to promote supply and use of
forest products certified to the high environmental standards of the Forest
Stewardship Council (FSC).
